The Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration is a peer-reviewed electronic journal offered free each quarter over the World Wide Web. The journal welcomes manuscripts based on original work of practitioners and researchers with specific focus or implications for the management of distance education programs.

The International Journal of E-Learning & Distance Education (formerly the Journal of Distance Education) is an international publication of the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education (CNIE). Its aims are to promote and encourage scholarly work in e-learning and distance education and provide a forum for the dissemination of international scholarship. Original material in either English or French is invited in three broad categories: (a) Scholarly articles and research papers that focus on issues related to e-learning and distance education; (b) Reports that highlight unique solutions to critical problems, short descriptions of work underlying new or innovative programs or contemporary events, and brief notes on research in progress; and (c) Dialogues devoted to the discussion or debate of issues in e-learning and distance education that may arouse controversy. The Dialogues section will also include papers written in reply to articles published in earlier issues of the Journal. The opinions expressed in the articles of this journal are those of their authors, not the Board or staff of the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education.

The Observatory on Borderless Higher Education (OBHE) conducts state-of-the-art research, disseminate best practices, emerging trends, policy frameworks and assessment and quality assurance information; and develop strategic partnerships with public and private universities and organisations for the effective delivery of borderless higher education academic programmes and services. The Observatory's primary purpose is to provide strategic information to enable policy-makers and institutional-organisational leaders to make informed decisions relevant to their existing and/or future transnational higher education initiatives.

Widely subscribed and read throughout the world by those in specialist distance education institutions, and also by those using distance, flexible and technology based forms of learning in conventional education and training contexts.

Open Learning publishes three kinds of article:

• Theoretical and evidence-based scholarly articles reflecting developments in open, distance and e-learning
• Shorter practical articles describing the implementation of forms of open, flexible and distance learning likely to interest our international readership
• Book reviews

The primary service provided by ACI is the management of academic conferences on behalf of universities and other higher education institutions. Conferences are generally hosted by the university holding the conference and ACI manages all the administrative aspects of the conference. This includes liaising with the Programme Committee to prepare the conference website and writing and  distributing a call for papers.
