We are pleased to announce that EBSCOhost has added a new Text to Speech  feature to databases with HTML content. Currently, this service is only available to Full-Text with HTML content. Text-to-Speech for PDF Full-Text is not yet available.

Search for any HTML Full-Text and Text-To-Speech bar will be displayed.

Link to the full text and look for Listen beneath the title to have content read aloud while highlighting follows along. You may select a voice (American, British, or Australian accent) and reading speed (slow, medium, or fast).

You may also choose to have only a section of an article read to you.

Highlight the passage of text you would like to be read outloud and click Listen.
