With the motto "University for all",OUM believes in giving everyone access to quality education and lifelong opportunities at affordable cost.

The programme involves quite a bit of hands-on assignments that require a lot of paper work and preparation. It is good if the study duration can be lengthened slightly so that learners can pace their studies accordingly.

To get good grades, consistent study is a must. This is a challenge faced by many learners because they have to balance work with studies, family and social commitments.

Programme cordinator Sharifah Rosfashida Syed Abd Latif says the programme is unique as the curriculum incorporates the core competencies of project and facility management towards attaining sustainability and lean management.

OUM has also developed more than 1,500 print modules and a multitude of other learning materials that are designed to afford flexibility, while encouraging independence and resourcefulness as well as enriching teaching and learning.

"We aim to produce quality graduates who stand out from the rest due to our unique mode of teaching and learning that leverages on OUM's proven delivery mechanism and vast experience," Datuk Professor Dr Ishak Tambi Kechik, President of the Board of IOC.

The programme runs from two to four weeks, and has been in existence since 2009. OUM is constanly strengthening and improving what we offer to the students.

Kerjasama ini bagi meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran menerusi kaedah elektronik, diharap dapat diperkenalkan di institusi pengajian, sekolah swasta dan kerajaan sebagai satu kaedah pembelajaran moden dan terkini yang lengkap.

"During the earlier part of my studies, I had to commute from Batu Pahat to Kuala Lumpur every month to attend seminars and tutorials at the university. It was hectic but I somehow managed," Lim Meng See.
