Open Univeristy Malaysia (OUM) has been successful in offering open and distance learning programmes to not only Malaysians, but also many people across the globe.

In this technology era, the development of mobile apps for learning is seen as the next step in programme delivery.

"With relevant skills, these personnel would be in a position to apply for better jobs or set up their own business once they retire from the service," Hamzah Shafie, Senior Manager of OUM's special project unit

"Dengan ijazah sarjana ini, jalan terbuka bagi saya untuk menjadi seorang pengurus keselamatan atau seorang perunding keselamatan di masa depan," Annah Munokara.

The programme, which was offered by OUM's training arm-the Institute of Professional Development (IPD-OUM)-will see student participating in industrial study visits or internships with companies in Malaysia.

This subject is not only about the identification, management and protection of cultural and historical values but also how they affect communities in terms of their social and economics benefits.

It is important that the programme be promoted among our younger generation, particularly those who are interested to know more about the civilisation, values, customs, religion, political and economic systems, the way of life and modernisation of the Malay society

This is indeed a significant milestones for OUM and as an institution, we will continue to give the best as an institution, we will continue to give the best to our learners and stakeholders.

In order to ensure that customers have a memorable experiences at its theme parks, the Disney team focuses on four core areas-safety,courtesy, show and efficiency.

"This means that students have the opportunity to practice actual business transactions as they learn to become specialists in international trade and law," said IPD-OUM Director Prof Dr Selvaraj Oyyan Pillay.
